Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), one of the known telecom service provider, has joined the tablet race by unveiling three Android tablets namely Penta Tpad IS7O1R, Penta Tpad WS704C and Penta Tpad WS802C in India. The tablets are manufactured by a Noida based company – Pantel.
Penta Tpad IS7O1R
The cheapest among the three tabs, Penta Tpad IS7O1R, priced at 3250 INR may be a competitor to the Akash Tablet. The Penta Tpad IS7O1R features a 7-inch resistive touchscreen (800×600 resolution), 1 GHz processor, 256mb RAM, running on Android OS v2.3 (Gingerbread). It also has WiFi, Integrated HDMI port, 0.3MP Camera, 2GB Internal memory that is expandable upto 32GB via microSD card.

Penta Tpad WS704C
Next comes the Penta Tpad WS704C, specs of which are similar to the IS701R. Extra features include an integrated SIM card, 512mb RAM, GPS, Bluetooth, 2MP rare and 0.3MP front camera, 4GB Internal storage, HD video playback, Inbuilt 3G Device. It is priced 10,999 INR.

Penta Tpad WS802C
The expensive of the three is the Penta Tpad WS802C which features an 8-inch capacitive touchscreen, 1.2GHz processor, 512Mb RAM, Android v2.3, 4GB internal memory. Although the features are same as the WS704C, it is priced 13,500 INR due to the screen and processor upgrade.
