Two of the world’s biggest internet phenomenons have come together in an attempt to make social networking easier. We are talking about Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook and Steve Ballmer’s Microsoft. Basically, Facebook is going to have a ‘translate’ button next to wall posts and comments on pages.
This means that people from all around the world, speaking different languages, are going to be able to communicate with each other easily. The translation service is going to be powered by the popular Microsoft search engine ‘Bing’ and is going to allow individuals to translate different languages. Although I don’t have a translation service for my coupon site where I offer havahart wireless coupons and oakley signs and graphics promo code. Basically, if you’re using Facebook in English, there is going to be a translate button next to every comment and post which is in any other language.

Bing
Bing was announced on the 28th of May, 2009 by Ballmer as new search engine. It has been the most successful search engine by Microsoft as compared to the old-school windows live search and MSN search. Currently, the Bing translator offers translation services in all major languages.
Everyone is aware of the biggest social networking site, Facebook. The changes that Mark Zuckerberg is bringing day by day on Facebook are countless. From the ‘like’ button to the new video chat feature and now a Translator, social Networking sure is getting interesting day by day. Currently, this new feature is only available via the translator application and can only translate comments and posts on Facebook pages. The deal is going to help individuals get more social. Everyone is going to be able to interact and view pages that have people from different parts of the world speaking different languages. Businesses run and promoted on facebook might also get a cutting edge due to the translation service as interaction is now going to be a lot easier with people who speak different languages. Many International Brands and Multinationals have different facebook pages for different countries. This new feature might be a turning point and might make Page management much easier.
Another interesting feature about the all new Facebook-Bing translator is that it is not going to be just a machine translator. It will have an option for people to suggest their own personal translations for the betterment of the translation service itself. This, in turn, would lead to more accurate human translations rather than simple old machine translations. This free translator focuses on reducing language barriers across the world for better interaction. Facebook has worked previously with Bing for its internal search results and now wants to make more from the Microsoft service. Previously, facebook offered location and languages options for its pages but this new feature is going to lead to easier page controlling.
After implementing this translator, Facebook should see greater comments and likes on pages due to more interaction by international individuals. Brands would now want to advertise more on facebook. If facebook makes an ad translator soon, a greater number of companies are going to start advertising via Facebook.
Some of the key points about implementing the new feature:
- Available in 37 different languages
- Easier for business and firms to manage their pages
- Facebook could see more advertisers in the near future
- Social Networking at its best. Interaction with people around the world regardless of the language they speak
- Has a human translation feature for better translations by individuals. This would help Microsoft improve its Bing translator even more.

This is one of the steps to acquire Yahoo completely by the Microsoft. Whatever they do, there should be one more Search engine, which should compete with Google. Else Google will act as Hitler.

It’s good that they advance in this direction, but I do not think they can ever surpass those from Google. Regarding facebook, I think that will disappear soon, it will be swallowed up by Google.
