You do have to enter a password to unlock the phone, but isn’t that worth some peach of mind? This app is affordable and convenient, so we recommend it for anybody who cares about their financial security.
Find My iPhone App
This app is a lifesaver. If you believe that your phone has gone missing or has been stolen, you can use the app to find it, no matter where it is. You simply log into your account on your computer and pinpoint its exact location. This is a free to use app, so even if you are on a tight budget you can use it!
MobileMe App
This last app is the most expensive, but it is one of the best security apps out there. As an Apple Product, it also enjoys a very trustworthy reputation. This app is very similar to “Find My iPhone”, except it has an added layer of protection. Since passwords are hack-able and finding your phone doesn’t necessarily protect it, you have the option to delete all the data on your phone from wherever you are. This can be used in the most desperate of circumstances. However, be prepared to pay $99/month.
By using these apps, you can make sure that your financial information is safe from intruders. MobileMe comes pre-installed, but is not usable until purchase. You can find the rest of the programs in the app store located on your iPhone. They are quick and easy to download, and provide you with the reassurance that your phone is safe.
