Gaming on your iOS device is slowly advancing to become just as complex and fun as gaming is on a regular console. One gaming aspect that has only started to become a feature on mobile devices in the most recent years is that of multiplayer gaming. There are already countless apps that you can play with your friends on and offline on the iTunes app store, many of them are incredibly sophisticated for something that can be played anywhere anytime!

The Tap Tap Series

To start off with we have a simple rhythm game which shares similarities between the likes of guitar hero, the difference being that you play using the touch controls on your iOS device. The game is extremely intuitive and the games features both an online mode and a great offline, two player mode in which you and a friend each use half of the screen.

The songs featured in the massive array of tap tap games are all songs we know and love, there are even artist specific version such as “Bruno Mars Revenge” or “Nirvana Revenge” that feature songs specifically from those artists.

It’s a fantastically fun game to play head to head against friends whether they happen to be in the same room or on the other side of the world. The prices vary depending on the version you want, but the likes of Tap Tap Revenge 4 only costs £1.99 which is a steal for such an addictive game.

Poker Games

When it comes to iOS multiplayer, there is a huge selection of poker games to choose from! Whether you want to play with a friend for fun, or against other people for real money, there is definitely something out there for you.

If you don’t really know how to play poker then don’t worry. Playing with practice money on one of the many poker apps can be a great way to learn. If you don’t have enough rhythm to play tap tap or you fancy something a bit more fast paced than poker, then we definitely have something for you. Archetype is an amazing iOS multiplayer shooter! The graphics look outstanding for something on a mobile device and the fact that you can play it with people all around the world from anywhere with an internet connection makes it even more appealing.

The game currently only costs $0.99! At that price I definitely recommend checking it out. There are even a selection of game modes to choose from including capture the flag, deathmatch and more.
