We live in an age marked by constant technological needs. Smart phones have simplified all the spheres of our lives and incorporated them under one umbrella. The phone system has with time come to exhibit cameras, word processors and even become entertain hubs. The market is just exploding with these devices and many manufacturers are finding it hard to push them off their shelves.
Smart Curved LG G Flex smartphone
Consumers are going for the sensational. LG has thrown a curve ball that has seen it make headlines. It recently rolled out the LG G Flex New Smart curve. The exquisite craftsmanship it parades, along with an array of features we will discuss, makes this smart phone one contender that simply can’t be overlooked in the phone arena.
Features
Design
-LG G Flex boasts a curved design. This is a first in the mobile phone field as it had been tried on TV sets before by the same company. Having curves in all the right places helps this phone takes its audio output at 3db higher than your average smart phone.
-While the decision to have its buttons at the device’s rear is questionable, we cannot help but note how inaccessible those buttons would have been if they were at the edges of the device.
-The phone has been branded a phablet by some due to 6 inch size. Again, its curvature lets it rest on your palm and allows more hands-on time without causing discomfort as would be expected of a device that size.
-Another definite eye-catcher is the ability of the phone’s exterior to self-heal. When phones fall, as they sometimes will, they tend to pick up some pretty nasty scratches that add age your device a few years. LG factored this in when creating this device. The plastic device is lined with an elastic coat on the back casing that makes any scratches indented on reside gradually.
Technical features
-The display is rooted on P-OLED with a resolution of up to 1280 x 720. With the bar raised so high by Retina displays and Full HD devices, the only redeeming feature this phone’s display has is the crisp colors it exhibits. The curved screen also adds a panoramic experience when using the gadget.
-The LG G Flex has retained its predecessors 13 mega pixel camera only this time, it lacks the Optical Image Stabilizer. Although this can be to blame for a grainy photo here and there, it takes beautiful photographs in a well-lit indoor background.
-The LG Flex phone system comes with a 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 that dovetails perfectly with the Android 4.2.2 version that comes pre-installed. The interface is quite conscious of the space brought to the table by the 6 inch screen and through a couple of themes that are given by LG at the its app store, you can easily tailor it to your preferences. The device has a built in RAM of 2GB that in cahoots with the processor lets you enjoy HD games and window multitasking.
-The Flex puts a resounding 32 GB storage chest at your disposal. Sadly, that is as far as that goes. You cannot upgrade your storage space as there is no memory card slot or support.
– the networking capability of this device is based on the latest 802.11ac network cards for Wi-Fi and this makes for amazingly fast browsing speeds. It also supports 4G/LTE for mobile phone use. The topping on the cake would have to be the USB 3.0 port that lets use its USB cable to send and receive data at high speeds.
All in all, this device has a simple design and holds a remarkable phone system making it a hot pick in the mobile phone market.
