Nokia N9, the long awaited MeeGo handset is an entirely buttonless one (except the volume and camera shutter button). It comes with a 3.9″ AMOLED touchscreen. The polycarbonate shell on the backside is colored, that means you don’t have to worry much about the ugly scratches. This new MeeGo powered handset runs on OMAP 3630 1GHz processor, has 16GB internal memory and 1GB RAM. The phone comes in three different colors namely black, cyan and magenta.

I’m curious why Nokia is not using Android OS. Android is also an open source and it’s much more popular than Meego. It would be nice if Nokia will make a statement regarding the benefits of Meego compared to any other Operating System.
