It makes more sense to use your Smartphone to take pictures, because editing and sharing is so easy. The only question is how do you organize your pictures? Here are some apps to help you out.
Photo Manager Pro
This is the best organizer for your idevices. You can arrange your pictures in folders and sub folders and within them, organize the photos according to names, tags, file types, dates and so on. You also have a wide array of options when it comes to photo transfer, from peer to peer exchange to straight to the computer via Wi-Fi.
Stash
Apart from helping you organize your pictures on your iPhone, Stash also protects them from intrusive eyes. You can create a guest account and share pictures that you want. You can also view pictures on AppleTV using AirPlay.
Photo Gallery (fish Bowl)
This app for Android displays your pictures like a snapshot wall, magnified in the middle, as if it’s an aerial shot. Creating albums and storing your digital memories is a breeze with this app, and the UI is stunning. This free app also offers locking of photos you don’t want to share and backing up of photos. You can easily export and importphotos too.
Smart Album Photo Calendar
As the name suggests, this app lets you arrange your photos chronologically, so that you can easily find them in a search. The app uses the metadata stamped on the files and automatically arranges them. You can add tags and share photos to your FB or MySpace accounts and even find out how many pictures you clicked on any given day.
iAlbum for iOS
This organizer is classy and sassy. You can customize photo album covers and add various special effects, and get realistic page turns when you go from one page to the next.
Photo Sort (iOS)
This app is uncomplicated and functional. It’s easy to store and sort your photos, and later when you want to edit them, they are easy to find. A no fuss, no frills photo organizer.
Photo Slideshow Director HD
This helps you create albums as well as slideshows, so that showing off your photos on your iPhone or iPad is a simple task. You can export your photos to HD video and create a music video out of it. It also offers complete RAW support, so, if you are into tinkering around with photographs, then this is a valuable tool.
Photo Album Organizer
This app creates a duplicate photo on your phone whenever you make an album. The selected photos are copied into the new album, so you now have two copies. Whenever you modify the content of the album, only the copies are deleted or updated. The original is never deleted. A reference to the original photo is maintained. So if you happen to delete some pictures inadvertently, you can always get them back. A good app for forgetful people!
Just Pictures for Android
This app lets you view photos on your phone, and from sites like FB, Tumblr, Picasa, Photobucket, and so on. You can also upload photos to these sites. You can create and watch slideshows, set photos as your wallpaper, zoom into and rotate them too. This app also lets you view geo tagged photos. The UI is smooth and fast, and looks great, which also helps!

Our app aiCam allows you to create albums right from the camera. It eliminates the need of post processing of large camera rolls. I am sure you will find our app quite useful.

I personally prefer the more “3D” photos of the stock Android photo apps. That is what I do not like about HTC’s with the list style view in the main menu. That sway I still prefer Androids photo app which also pulls photos from Facebook, Flickr, etc.
