Apple has unveiled its two versions of iPhone series. The iPhone 6 comes in 4.7-inch display screen and iPhone 6 Plus comes in 5.5-inch display. As from the size it becomes clear that both the iPhones are bigger enough to hold in one hand easily. This creates a big situation for the iPhone lovers and shoppers to decide which one to buy as both the iPhones have larger displays, even their processors are faster than the older versions of iPhone. but there are a lot more differences between the two and here’s a brief review of each model.
Different Apple versions
Design of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus:
The design of these two phones give a new look to the series. The edges of both the newer versions of iPhone 6 and 6 plus are rounded. The display of iPhone 6 is 4.7- inch and of plus version is 5.5- inch, which makes the phone to fall into the category of phablets, as compared to Samsung galaxy note 4.
Specification Overview
iPhone 6 measures 5.44 x 2.64 x 0.27 inches and the 6 plus measures 6.22 x 3.06 x 0.28 inches. it is clear from the dimensions that iPhone 6 is thinner than the plus version and it weighs 4.55 ounces as compared to the plus model which weighs 6.07 ounces. So the standard version will be more comfortable to handle with one hand as compared to the other version.
Display:
Let’s talk about the display of the two iPhones. Apple iPhone developers have always showed their skills and technologies while making displays of iPhone series and this time they have again proved it while working for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus displays.

iPhone 6 has a retina HD display of 4.7 inch. It supports a resolution of 1334 x 750 pixels. whereas the plus model supports the resolution of 1920 x 1080-pixel with the 5.5 inch retina HD display with pixels density of 401 pixels-per-inch. The contrast ratio is better with the ratio of 4000:1 as compared to 6 plus model which has a contrast ratio of 3000:1.
A8-chip
Both the phones are supported by the next generation M8 motion coprocessor and are powered by the Apple’s all new A8 chip. This chip is approximately 25% faster than the A7 chip, which was used in older version of iPhone.
Camera:
Cameras are becoming a basic need in our everyday life. It is for sure that we all want to capture or digitalize our special moments and we don’t want to miss anything. So keeping in mind this, Apple has equipped both of its versions with the an 8-MP rear camera with an f/2.2 lens. This lens has a capability of capturing 1080p video at 60 fps and 240 fps in slo-mo mode.

A new sensor has also been used which has made it easy to capture fast moving objects more easily and more quickly. The difference between the cameras of iPhone 6 and the plus version is that the camera uses digital image stabilization whereas the camera of iPhone 6 plus uses optical image stabilization. This feature of iPhone 6 plus is better than iPhone 6 as with optical image stabilization as it works with A8 chip, M8 motion coprocessor and gyroscope which allows the user to capture more steadier image and videos even in low light conditions.

Now a days, most of the smartphone users are facing battery issues. They are complaining that their smartphone’s batteries are draining out much faster and they need to charge up their phone’s battery repeatedly twice or thrice in a day. The battery of iPhone 6 plus, if once fully charged, lasts longer than that of the iPhone 6’s battery. Battery conditions always depends upon the user usage. While surfing, iPhone 6 can work approximately for 10 hours while iPhone 6 plus last longer up to 12 hours.
Pricing:
According to the new budget introduced, the MRP of the entire iphone series is willing to be increased by the Apple in India. Iphone 6 and iphone 6plus models will now become costlier. This means that starting price of iphone 6 – 16 GB will be around RS 56,000 and that of iphone 6 plus – 16 GB will be around RS 65,000.
Compare both models
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus also come with 64Gb and 128GB capacity. The cost of both versions with 64Gb internal memory will be approximately RS 65,000 and RS 74,000 respectively and the cost with 128 GB internal memory will b around RS 74,000 and RS 83,000 respectively.
