Tech Crates Traffic Report: May 2011

May was a merry month for Tech Crates in terms of traffic. The blogs traffic increased by 2k visitors thereby crossing the 15k/month traffic mark.

This blog was able to draw 15,662 visits in the month of May and as usual the search giant, Google rocks.

Traffic sources: Search Engines sent 76% of the traffic whereas Direct and Referring constituted 16% and 8%.

    Great Job . But I have a confusion . My website receive abot 60K visitors per months and its alexa is about 4.5lacks .but you have only 15k and alexa is abot 2.2L
    How is this possible. What is the factor of alexa ranking

      Thanks Fayaz and whereas alexa rank is not an accurate measurement of traffic, its just an estimate…Don’t rely on that. Alexa rank depends upon no. of visitors having the alexa toolbar installed !!

      Alexa Ranking can be easily manipulated.. Its not any deciding factor in the traffic of any site. But yes, you sud have good alexa rank in order to improve ur priority on others and be a dominant in the market

    Good scores. Great SEO work so that you get the major chunk of traffic from Google..

    Although you 94% of new visits, I can find that the average time, pageviews per visit and average time is low.

    It is time for you to redesign your blog and mainly your homepage. Check for free and awesome profressional wordpress theme.

    Try something. I am sure you will soon feel the difference and grow higher 🙂
