Nice infographic and numbers to see about domain names history, current stats and future trends. One thing remains unchanged is the way people use the domains names.
People still prefer to use TLDs like .com, .net, .org and country level TLDs like .in, co.in etc.. So the new domains are rarely used by common people.
Most of the people did not know that a certain extension exists.
