We have known for some time that Xiaomi is working on the flagship smartphone Mi 10. We expect the device to be launched on the market in early 2020. Given our positive impression in the test of the Xiaomi Mi 9, we assume that the successor model will again deliver top performance at a fair price. Learn everything we already know about the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro.
First smartphone with Snapdragon 865
There have been rumors for a long time that Xiaomi could become the first manufacturer with the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset in a smartphone. The new chip uses 5th generation artificial intelligence, the use of which should be more intuitive, intelligent and more responsive than before in the user experience. For example, language assistants should develop more context awareness, Qualcomm says.
The latest benchmarks for a supposed Xiaomi Mi 10 have now been made with AnTuTu. These are intended to confirm the Snapdragon 865 with the Adreno 650 GPU. According to the data, the Mi 10 would be the first device to break the 500,000 mark. That would also be about 15 percent better than the value of the top Android smartphones in the market today. You can see the result of the benchmark in the screenshot below.
Design and technical specifications
The dual selfie camera is therefore recessed as a wide hole in the display, just like the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus. The quad camera on the back is now protected by a uniform glass plate. The display is a 6.5-inch model with 90 Hz. The latter corresponds to the rivals OnePlus 7T Pro and Google Pixel 4. The cameras should be the same as in the impressive Mi Note 10, which has a 108 megapixel – Main sensor has. In the rumor mill it is said that Xiaomi will provide her with a 48-megapixel sensor, a 12-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor. But this quartet is expected to be reserved for the Mi 10 Pro. The regular Mi 10 could have a 20-12-4 megapixel configuration. We do not yet know exactly which lenses are involved.
For the battery, there will be a available capacity of 4500 mAh in both the Pro and the Non-Pro version. Fast charging will likely be on board, but we don’t yet know the difference between the two models. We could see 30 or 40W quick charge on the normal Mi 10, up to 66W quick charge on the Pro version.
